Can't use confirm or cancel buttons to proceed with install

Description

I've downloaded Cydia this evening Aug 30, 08 about 21:30CST and when attempting to install any package, the confirmation screen does not allow the confirm or cancel buttons to operate. I am trying to install BootNueter?, but the problem exists even when trying to install the Cydia "essential" installer upgrade.

I am using a 4G 1st gen iPhone with 2.0.2 loaded. I'm new to iPhone, but not to tech. It could be some operator error, but I'm darned if I can sort it. I need to unlock this phone.

I have never heard of an issue like this. Are you certain it doesn't have to do with your phone? I assume you've tried rebooting?
