Receiving SMS text message while installing causes sound loop

When running Cydia and installing a package, when the "Running..." screen is active and an incoming SMS generates a sound event, the sound continues to play in a loop.

Disabling sound does not stop the sound loop. Using the hardware "Silent" switch does not stop the sound loop.

Resetting iPhone is the only way to reset the sound loop.

Running 1.1.3 jailbroken and activated with ziphone.

Installation (particularly during download) should have some cancel button too. But I think that's worth a new ticket.

On a 113 iNdependence jailbroken phone here and have experienced the same problem.

Upgraded to 1.1.4 - issue still occurs and in fact seems to occur whenever a sound event is raised while installing any package.

Isn't this just a general problem with the OS, when the CPU is busy doing I/O? I swear I see this behavior a lot. Is it something we can really fix?

I have observed the forever-repeating-sounds several times already and it was always outside of the context of Cydia. I don't think this is Cydia related at all.
