Confirm/Cancel button does not respond to taps

version: 1.0.2439-53 (installed via the jaysaurik apptapp repo)

1. start cydia 2. get message that update is available 3. tap Upgrade Essential 4. get confirm/cancel screen 5. try to tap "confirm" or "cancel" buttons

Nothing happens. I can't get back to the main screen except by hitting home button. I can "scroll" main area fine, and that region of the screen responds to taps in other apps (e.g. "edit" button in mail)

Perhaps this is solved in a later version (cydia is one of the packages to be updated), but then the apptapp repo should also be updated.

The AppTapp? repository is only a stable bootstrap for the APT repository. It should not be upgraded unless it absolutely has to due to the inherent difficulties of getting an Installer package of that complexity correct (its almost impossible).

Regardless, I am closing this bug as it is currently filed against an unsupported version of Cydia (for 1.1.x). If this phone is still around it should be upgraded to 2.x.
